Yay! She's dopey at the moment and before bed time when no one's watching her she'll have to have a bucket put around her head, like a satellite dish, but yeah, she pulled through, but I must say I'm not surprised. We won't know what it was until a few days time, though.

About Sasha, my dog. Just yesterday we discovered this small internal lump toward the upper part of her leg. So we took her to the vet as it could be the onset of a cancer/tumour. Given the position of the lump, the vet wasn't able to get enough sample to test whether it is something major or not, so given the uncertainty of what it is, just in case it is something bad and it grows to incurable status, she's having it removed tomorrow in an operation, although given her age of 9, there's no certainty she'll wake up from the anaesthetic, and to lose her would be devastating, especially given the suddenness of it all and if it turns out the op was all for nothing.

We had this get together to celebrate a friends 19th birthday, at his place. Then 8 of us went to this casino/nightclub type place, and the rest didn't because they were underage or had other plans after that, although my mates' girlfriend was underage and she got in. It was fun, even though I can recall 3 occasions where one of my friends nearly got into a fight, and another one where an old acquaintance of mine from school who was there and was with us for a while, raging drunk at that, wanted to fight a couple smart asses, but boy can the dude fight though.

We saw half a dozen old peers of ours from school we get along pretty well with there, which was nice, and they haven't changed a bit. I was certainly the most sober of the group, except maybe for my mate that drove us home, who didn't drink much but was still over the limit. I'm considered a freak because I drink as much as what they do and the comparison between me and them is very noticeable. They were pissed and I felt fine. I gently reminded them it's 'cause I'm an experienced Italian Stallion. :D

My mate fell on my other mate, another mate tripped himself over going down the stairs, they were like "Hey I'm pissed man", and I was like, 'I know, I know." And one comment my mate said cracked me up, he says "I know man I can't help it but around here I just judge by looking and you can tell that guy there is a try hard 'ay." And here he is fuckin' waving his hands in the guys direction, and he's what, not even 2m away from us! I was like, "I know, I know." But also giving him a "shut the fuck up man" kind of look, too.

And on the way out I met another old mate of mine who I never see these days but my other mates do 'cause they play footy together with him. It was about 0130 and he was like "Hey man they wouldn't let me in but I've only had 3 drinks." Bull fuckin' shit. I said "Nah, I think you've had more than 3 mate." Trust me he did. He was like "Nah man I'm serious, I've only had 3 drinks."

Yeah so anyway I had a fun albeit sometimes scary night/early morning, got home at about 2am, haven't slept at all 'cause I feel like shit and my nose was all stuffy, and now I'm on here at nearly 0745 typing this entry. Today I'll just have a good meal, watch the footy and rest up, in preparation for what should hopefully be a big week of TAFE.

And in other news this morning, several hundred metres down our road a few of those fat wood pole things with wires, bolts and stuff fell down, and it happened earlier in the morning about the time I was going to go for my usual run but decided not to, and luckily so since I could've been squished and that wouldn't have been nice.

And it's my brothers 24th birthday tomorrow, so yay for him. We're not doing anything fully sic for his birthday though.

I've finished Twilight, and thought it was great and all that good shit. I'm looking forward to the sequel, New Moon. I'll go to the library on Wednesday and they should have it, hopefully, unless some other motherfucker has it.

It obviously can't continue to be all la de dah and shit because a story always has a problem then resolution. Oh really? You don't fuckin' say. I guess the reason why Edward refuses to turn Bella into a vampire is because he despises what he is and doesn't want her to become like him.

Maybe it'll get harder for him to resist turning her though and he'll withdraw himself from her and piss off for a while, then Bella will get all depressed and shit and probably turn to Mike or maybe even Jacob, depending on where she goes and what not.

Then she'll probably get into strife again, Edward will save her and maybe something or someone will convince him to turn her, but in the meanwhile a new threat will emerge to set the crux for the Eclipse book. And maybe she'll follow in the footsteps of her mother and get married to Edward or the proposal will happen in the epilogue.

But yeah I'm on the bandwagon so to speak. If you told me to read a romance novel where a high school senior falls in love with a vampire, I'd tell you to get fucked, but I decided to read it given how it's not your typical Gothic kind of shit, and, it has a pretty decent fan base and The Lid liked it so I figured it must've been doing something right.

Everything about the book was interesting. There was none of that wishy washy excessive details shit that I despise. I mean, who the fuck wants to read three pages about a fuckin' chair?

The story was interesting, as were the characters, the dialogue was great - there wasn't one Bella/Edward dialogue exchange I didn't like. The best thing about the book was that it was written in first person, from Bella's perspective. It's always more interesting to hear a story that way.

The character I related to most in the story was Edward, because we both have one thing in common - perfection. :D Nah my pick was Jacob, just because he's a dark haired, dark eyed, youthful looking guy with a deep voice who hits on Kristen Stewart, which sounds like something I'd do. :D

I'm predicting the movie version of Twilight will be good. They get a pass mark for the casting, for a start. Even though I'm only familiar with Rob {because of Harry Potter and that thing where he played a dork}, they've got the right looking people for the roles me thinks.

Originally I never intended on posting any entries when I got an LJ. I just needed one so I can talk to artanis0010 on her f-locked entries, and the_tim_world on hers. And more recently, kotorjedi_amaya.

But, I'll make one now, and note two things: 1 - Who knows when the next entry will be, if there will be one... I'm random and lazy; 2 - I'm thinking as I'm typing so right now I haven't even thought about what I'm going to say. I doubt there's much I could say that would get you more than just a one word, head nodding response anyway.

The only recently eyebrow raising thing I have to say that I wish I wasn't because it's a bad thing is, on Thursday afternoon one of my best friends was in a big car crash, but luckily, he got out of it with just whiplash. He's insured. The other driver's okay too, and isn't suing, which is good. Car accidents suck.

Not new news to artanis0010 and the_tim_world, but yeah.

And who here's sea sick? My Uncle was telling me the other day that a family of 5 he went out fishing with not too long ago were all sea sick. Now to me, that's unusual. It's not every day you hear all members of a family are sea sick. Usually at least one of them is not. I'm not. I actually like that sea sawing motion you often get on fish boats.

And the Indian cricket team are a mob of wankers. Not being racist or anything. Tendulkar, Sehwag and Ganguly are cool, but that young long haired bowler and their captain, Singh, are smart ass pricks, among others.

They reckon we're racist and lack in sportsmanship. Yeah, that's why a whole lot of Indians in the crowd were calling Symonds a monkey... and not in a good way, like they claim, since the monkey is some type of God in Indian culture. You can tell by the body language and the way it was being said they weren't praising him.

And the way that long haired fucker carries on when he takes a wicket... he should keep his big mouth shut before it gets shut for him. The blasted pricks beat us yesterday in match 1 of the finals, so if they win the next in Sydney, it'll be over.

What else is there to say? The weather here in Perth has been pretty fuckin' hot lately, as if Autumn hasn't really begun yet. We'd die without the air con, yet here I am saying that, when I went for a 4km run at about 1030 today. It was pretty warm then too. But I love running. I like the energy draining and euphoric feeling you get from it. Strange, huh.
